The service

THE PAST 24 provides daily editions of curated progress news on the web and by email. Content is for personal, non-commercial reading unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accuracy

We work hard to verify stories, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete or current. See our corrections policy. Do not rely on Past 24 as sole basis for medical, legal, or investment decisions.

Intellectual property

Edition text, original graphics, and branding are owned by THE PAST 24 or licensors. Quoting brief excerpts with attribution and a link is welcome. Scraping full editions for republication, model training, or commercial reuse without permission is not.

Membership & payments

Paid memberships are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Stripe’s customer portal or by contacting us. Founding memberships are one-time payments with benefits described at checkout. Refunds are handled case by case within 14 days of purchase where applicable law requires.

User submissions

Tips and messages you send may be used to research stories. Submitting does not guarantee publication. Do not send confidential information you cannot share with our editorial team.

Acceptable use

• No automated scraping that degrades service for others
• No attempts to manipulate reaction counts or analytics
• No harassment of staff or other readers via our channels

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
